Paratopia 124: Imbroglios Abound
Friday Mar 15, 2024
Friday Mar 15, 2024
The Jeff & The Jer recorded a full episode with Lee Townsend on Wednesday. The first half dealt with the recent allegations that Phil Imbrogno forged his education credentials. Anything we had to say was purely speculative because Phil's public response has been to leave the paranormal field and go silent. That's publicly. But a funny thing happened on the way to Thursday: Phil personally emailed Jeremy his side of the story out of the blue and so the first half of the show had to be scrapped as irrelevant in light of new information--information Jer still cannot really share with the audience, but can talk around.
And that's only the beginning of the problems they faced with this week's episode. In fact, the way they ended with Lee was bizarre and the way Jeff & Jer ended their afterchat on Thursday was impossibly weird. Is there a ghost in the machine? Imbroglios indeed!
Thankfully, what was salvaged and cobbled together is seamless enough and full of the Paratopia mind food we all crave. (originally aired 07.07.2011)

Paratopia 123: Dr. Synthia Andrews
Friday Mar 08, 2024
Friday Mar 08, 2024
The Path of Energy author, Dr. Synthia Andrews, joins Jer to clearly define chakras, the aura, and other ethereal energy systems that are a part of us and yet unproven by science. What are these things? How do they work? Are they interconnected? How do we know anything about scientifically unproven phenomena?
That, plus the problem of evil and the question of aliens are up for discussion in this illuminating talk. Then, Jeff & Jer explore some of Jeff's ''alien'' encounters with fresh questions that cut deeper than they've ever sliced before. This is one of those ''wow'' after-chats that will leave you stunned and pondering. (originally aired: 06.20.2011)

Paratopia Special: Arrogance vs. Evolution
Tuesday Feb 20, 2024
Tuesday Feb 20, 2024
Is computer tech all about us yearning for the oneness whom we are and are repressing? Are Jeff Ritzmann and Jeremy Vaeni two old farts screaming at kids to get off their lawn?
Picking up on themes in Paratopia Episode 120: Bill Birnes - Everything Asked, The Jeff & The Jer go back and forth on computer tech and the state of a future being dictated to us by rich men living in fear of death. Subjects include nanobots in the bloodstream (yes, kids, people were talking about it a decade before the pandemic), video games, Transcendent Man, a documentary on inventor and futurist, Ray Kurzweil, and, sure, let's throw in Lady Gaga for good measure. Paratopia 120: Bill Birnes - Everything Asked
Friday Feb 16, 2024
Friday Feb 16, 2024
UFO Hunters star & UFO Magazine publisher William J. Birnes joins Jeremy to discuss what he really thinks of Ancient Aliens, what he really thinks of Phil Corso, what Charles Halt told him about Jim Penniston's binary code, what he really thinks of Bentwaters, and if we really did change anything with our exposés on Jacobs/Hopkins. He also answers the question most nagging Paratopians for years: Why did he tell that abductee guy he was a hybrid alien on the most infamous episode of UFO Hunters?
All of this plus we get a behind the scenes tutorial in what it's like to produce television and be a high-profile author in ufology. This is, indeed, the ultimate Bill Birnes episode! (originally aired: 06.09.2011)
